About Eric
Eric has extensive trial experience and an understanding of a wide array of law. Prior to joining Sutton Booker, he worked in the Denver City Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted criminal cases, trying nearly one hundred cases to verdict. While with the City, he also advised and worked with numerous city departments, including police, fire, public health, zoning, animal control, and licensing agencies. Eric previously worked for a large Denver firm, where he participated in wrongful death and construction defect cases, as well as antitrust, CERCLA, and legal malpractice matters. Before entering private practice, Eric clerked for Judges Steve Bernard and Gale Miller of the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Eric graduated from the Northwestern School of Law, where he was the coordinating articles editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. He earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, where he was a member of the baseball team. Before becoming a lawyer, Eric played minor league baseball in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, worked as a ski instructor in Steamboat Springs, was paid to review movies in Los Angeles, and helped run a construction company in Reno.
Eric’s practice focuses on UIM/UM bad faith, property damage bad faith, construction defect, and premises liability.
